How we got here…..
After many years of working in the employee benefits sector of the Insurance industry Brandy Polizzi and Chris Thompson realized that there was a more efficient way to help their corporate clients manage their benefit package. With first hand experience of facilitating hundreds of open enrollments and listening to the issues and concerns that plagued their HR clients, they decided to find a better way. After researching and educating themselves on the technology available to them, they decided to establish eBen Consultants under the umbrella of BCI, LLC. Short for “electronic benefits”, e*Ben Consultants specializes in the implementation of electronic benefit administration platforms designed to minimize the workload placed on human resource departments. Since that time they have expanded their product offering to include individual health coverage from Sidecar Health.
Through the years Brandy and Chris assisted many of their friends with their property coverages (Home, Auto, Commercial) and were surprised by the number of individuals that they had helped find affordable and reliable coverage. So they expanded their business to include personal line coverages as well as commercial coverage for small businesses. Even though their primary focus has been on employee benefits they are excited about the opportunity to assist you with your home, auto, or commercial needs.

Brandy Polizzi

Responsibilities
Brandy’s responsibilities are managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. As one of the Founding members of e*Ben Consultants, she provides strategic guidance on benefit design, administration, marketing and analysis of benefit plans. Brandy works with clients providing all deliverables such as benefit summaries, open enrollment materials and employee communication materials. She also assists with reviewing carrier reports, benefit plan structure, plan design and monitoring industry trends. She participates in insurance committee and employee educational meetings, as well as facilitates open enrollment. She advises clients with respect to daily employee benefit issues and claims management.
Professional Experience
After a successful sales career in communications and advertising, Brandy decided to join the world on insurance. She started as a field agent with Aflac in 2008, and was soon promoted to Broker Sales Coordinator. She acted as liaison between brokers and Aflac, overseeing open enrollment administration for large groups and managing billing and claims issues. She has over 12 years experience in the employee benefits industry.
Education & Family
Brandy graduated high school from Northeast Lauderdale. She then obtained her Bachelor’s degree in English and Social Sciences from the University of Mississippi. She obtained her State of Mississippi Life and Health Insurance License in 2008 and Property and Casualty License in 2012. Brandy is very involved in her community. She is a member of Junior Auxiliary of Meridian and helps coordinate the youth and outreach ministries at her church. Brandy is married to Tony Polizzi and they have a daughter, Logan, and a son, Ross.
Hannah Thomas

Responsibilities
As Account Administrator Hannah’s primary focus is to assist our Human Resource clients with the facilitation and maintenance of our benefits administration platforms. She is also responsible for claims submissions and the submission of employee benefits and demographic changes that may occur.
Education
Hannah is a graduate of Clarkdale High School. She attended Holmes Community College on a tennis scholarship and continued her tennis career at Mississippi University for Women, where she achieved her degree in Business Marketing.
Family
Hannah is very compassionate and is very eager to assist our clients with their claims and issues. She lives in the Clarkdale community and is a member of Jones Chapel Church of God. She spends much of her time with her daughter Parker Kate and the rest of her family.
Chris W. Thompson

Responsibilities
As Co-Founder Chris’s principle areas of responsibilities include client relationship management as well as strategic planning and project management. He also operates in a consultative role, supporting client’s strategic initiatives and assisting with a range of complex issues. He acts as a technical resource to identify clients needs and issues making recommendations for product and service solutions. Chris’s proactive involvement ensures clients are receiving the highest level of advice and excellent customer service. He participates with insurance committee and employee meetings and manages vendor relationships as well. Chris will also assist with compliance when specific actions are required.
Professional Experience
Chris has over 19 years of experience in employee benefits marketing and administration. he started his career with Aflac in 2001, and quickly moved through the ranks to Regional Sales Coordinator. He was responsible for the oversight of 35 agents and over 2500 group accounts. Here he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Education & Family
Chris graduated from Southeast Lauderdale. He attended and played basketball at East Mississippi Community College. He obtained his insurance license in 2001 and Property and Casualty license in 2012. He has one other business interest in Thomcat Enterprises, and is a NCAA Basketball Official as well as the Supervisor of Officials for Mid-South Association of Independent Schools. He is a member of New Hope Baptist Church and is married to Melanie Thompson. They have three boys Tyler, Colson, and Canon and live in the Clarkdale Community.
