Group Health

Vision

Vision is typically offered on a voluntary basis and normally 50-60% of your employee population will elect this coverage. This coverage is very network oriented, so electing the right carrier for your specific geographical area is very important. Our recommendations for this product depend heavily on the carrier network that is right for your area. In some cases dual options are suggested.

Disability

At least 51 million working adults are without disability insurance. This is one of the most overlooked coverages offered. In 2014, a study showed that 41% of bankruptcies were due to medical bills arising from sickness or injury. Let us assist you in helping protect your valued employees. Cafeteria

Section 125 of the IRS code allows for tax relief benefits for employers and employees. This can be a Premium Only Plan (POP) to a full Full Flexible Spending Agreement. The documentation and compliance administration that accompanies cafeteria plans can be very labor intensive. It is extremely important that employers have a knowledgable broker to assist them with choosing the right Administration Company for this task. Dental

Topped only by Major Medical, dental coverage is the most important coverage that you can provide to your employees. Therefore, it is a crucial part of your benefits package. The network and design of your dental coverage will determine employee utilization, and ultimately affect the satisfaction of your employee population. Group Life

For 40% of employees the Group Life coverage you provide is all the life insurance they will have. Stringent medical questions on Individual Life coverage can make it unaffordable and, often, unattainable. By offering Voluntary Life, in addition to your Group Life, your employees may be eligible for guaranteed issued amounts of coverage that they would not normally be able to afford.

Worksite

Unfortunately, as hard as you try you will never be able to design your benefits package to meet every employee’s individual needs. However, providing your employees the opportunity to purchase voluntary products, such as Cancer, Accident, and Critical Illness coverages, through payroll deduction will help them fill possible gaps in their coverage.
